OREGON HARBOR HOP
A Fundraiser For Veterans Suffering from PTSD & Suicide Prevention

September 13th - 20th, 2025
THE ROUTE
Astoria:
Kick-off celebration, press event, and community sail
Tillamook
Newport
Florence:
Coos Bay:
Port Orford:
Brookings:
Grand finale celebration, donor appreciation, and media showcase
Starting in Astoria and culminating in Brookings, the "Harbor Hop" campaign will navigate every harbor along Oregon’s breathtaking coastline. At each stop, we will host community events, peer-support circles, open sails, and educational workshops.
Local residents, businesses, and civic leaders will be invited to welcome the veterans, participate in activities, and learn more about the challenges these heroes face and the hope they carry.
Throughout the journey, we will document stories, triumphs, and challenges to share broadly, inspiring others and reinforcing the message that no veteran should heal alone.
Join us for the Oregon Harbor Hop—a week-long coastal journey from Astoria to Brookings aimed at raising $100,000 for year-round therapeutic sailing programs, a larger boat, and direct financial assistance to families affected by suicide. 10% of the proceeds go to Once A Soldier, a non-profit dedicated to assisting families affected by soldier and veteran suicide.

Each leg of our journey has space for three veterans or sponsors aboard and share in the mission. If you’re a boat owner, you can also join the flotilla, sailing in solidarity between coastal stops .
